The RP (Role-Play) version of DM_RICHLAND minimizes the deathmatch gameplay of the original by removing most of the passages that connected the apartments and placing item and weapon pickups outside and out of the way. This helps make the map more useful to those who wish to just mess around or pose screenshots for comics and machinima. It is still a formidable deathmatch arena, but the flow of the fight has been shifted outside of the buildings and beneath. There are a number of new features and tricks to discover.

• Power and lights on/off in each apartment and office.
• Each apartment and the office can be locked and windows repaired.
• Expanded skybox area can be accessed through two portals, one large enough to fit a car into.

NOTES:

When I felt inspired to learn 3d mapping, I decided to start by creating the inside of my apartment.  I branched out from there by recreating the layout of my neighbors' apartments. This created the layout that I use for Richland Townhomes.

I hope you enjoy this map just as much as I enjoyed making it. This is a fun map, and a great deathmatch level thats been around for a while.
